Booking Policy

We kindly request that you book your Jet ski rental at least 4-5 days prior to your stay date at Happy waves. This allows us to prepare and guarantee availability.

REQUIREMENTS TO BOOK: Must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a Jet Ski rental.
​

Incidental charge of $300 per ski is required at the time of rental. This charge will be refunded within 7 days upon completion of rental.

Key: If you lose the Key to Jet Ski, your Credit card will be charged nonrefundable $250 per Key.​

Cancellation: If you need to cancel or book, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required. Failure to provide hours' notice will result in a charge of the full rental.

Waiver: All operators and passengers must sign a waiver. Once your booking is confirmed, please ensure each guest completes the waiver linked in your confirmation email. This includes minors under 18 yrs, who must have a parent or legal guardian sign on their behalf.​​​

Boater Certificate: Have a photo of your Boater Certificate (if required). ​Riders born after Sept. 1, 1993, must have a Texas Boater’s Safety License.

Rules and Requirement for Operation
Be Advised Below you will find a list of several state requirements and company guidelines that you MUST recognize and follow. It is important that you carefully read this list and understand these requirements prior to booking. By Booking with us you agree to abide by our terms and condition. Texas Waves and its affiliates are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or liabilities that may occur for staying or booking our rental. Please adhere to these guidelines for everyone's safety.

Must be 16 years of age or older to operate. Children under 13 years are specifically prohibited from operating PWC unless accompanied on board by a person at least 18 years of age who lawfully operate the PWC.

All boaters born on or after September 1, 1993 operating on public waters, must have a Texas Boater Education Certificate to operate vessels powered by a motor with a manufacture’s rating of more than 15 horsepower, or wind-blown vessels over 14ft. ​Signed legal waivers by all clients who wish to rent/ride any watercraft.​
​

Must follow all laws pertaining to boater safety AND laws for the selected lake location of rental.​​

Must be mindful of other boaters and any wildlife encountered. Always maintain minimum 50 ft distance from swimmers and other vessel.

​Must have Engine Cut-Off Switch attached to Life Vest, Lanyard AT ALL TIMES.

If operating /riding PWC(Jet ski) Lifejacket(s) must be worn AT ALL TIMES.​​

No pets/animals will be allowed on any vessel.

Strict No Tow Policy: Strictly No Tubing or Towing Behind Jet ski.

No Drinking and driving PWC.
